How can I control oily and acne prone skin?

I had near perfect skin up until I started college. Now it gets oily and I tend to breakout around my chin and mouth. Also it seems like after 2 hours my face looks like I don%26#039;t even have foundation on. What do you think will control shine and keep my acne under control? Help!|||wear a little bit of foundation

to offer some coverage

but not too much, that will clog your pores even more.

also to control the oil, try using powders.

mineral powders work well, because talc

can sometimes look weird if you put too much on.

also, if your skin is as oily as mine, use

oil absorbing sheets to get rid of shine

after it starts to get oily again.

i use clean %26amp; clear oil absorbing sheets.

they work really well and usually dont smudge makeup

too much, but i suggest checking after you use

them because sometimes they do.

also, try using an oily skin toner, astringent or witch hazel in the morning and night to control oil.

a good face soap to use is clearasil ultra daily face wash. ever since i%26#039;ve started using it, it%26#039;s made my skin clearer!

for acne control, you could try using a benzoyl peroxide cream or gel at night, but this dries up your skin so be careful.

also, keep in mind that it can bleach stuff...

if acne gets really bad, see a dermatologist. they can perscribe medicine that works amazingly! plus, if you get a pill like tetracycline, it isn%26#039;t that expensive at all.

i hope this helps, and good luck! ^_^|||Wash your face a lot, don%26#039;t touch it. Don%26#039;t quote me, but I heard something about toothpaste.?

There are treatments.|||Get oil blotting papers. You can use them during the day to blot up oil and keep your skin looking matte. They are available at many make up stores like The Body Shop and Sephora.|||An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/
