What kind of makeup such as foundatin doesnt make acne-prone skin break-out?

anthing nauturally based. you dont have to go all expensive and get bare minerals, but you should get something that is a little bit more naturally based. You can usually see which ones they are because it is usually advertised a lot if it is. the packaging will say %26quot;For a natural look%26quot; or %26quot;made with minerals%26quot;, or something similar. Also dont get anything with oil in it. Get pressed powder foundation if you have reddish skin, or already have acne. Always wash your face completly with a good pore cleansing face soap in the morning before you put it on and at night to take it off. The main thing that will cause acne is not washing it out before you go to sleep. No other makeup will affect your skin really, but try to get a powered blush, the best would be the same company and type as your foundation, but if you can not find that get as close as possible. You dont want to wear a cream blush with powered foundation. I know this seems like alot, but it really isnt. I hope I helped!|||yeah seriously, mineral makeup is the way to go. i am currently getting treated w/ facials and stuff for acne, and the esthetician told me that mineral makeup was good to wear.

i have tried www.everydayminerals, www.alimacosmetics.com, and www.joppminerals.com. i have very oily skin, so joppa worked really well for me. my friend however thinks alima was really great. anyways, they have samples u can order for like $3.00 or so it%26#039;s really cool to try them out. i am also going to be checking out merle norman%26#039;s mineral makeup line today. i read really good reviews. try looking up stuff on www.makeupalley.com for great customer reviews and stuff! good luck :)|||i like revlon or clinique|||Bare Minerals. Best anti-wrinkle face wash and moisturizer for acne prone skin, that's already getting pre-mature wrinkles?

I%26#039;m 18 and I%26#039;m starting to get wrinkles around my mouth when I smile and what not. My face is VERY acne prone, so what would be the best face wash and moisturizer to help fight wrinkles, yet fight acne? Something with beta hydroxy, I%26#039;ve heard?|||The best face wash is a safe, non harming, non aging one which you can find by doing a Google %26quot;safe, non harmful skin cleansers%26quot;. Then refine search %26#039;%26#039;Available in stores%26#039;%26#039;. You can buy at Trader Joes, Earth Fare, Wegmans, Whole Foods, Cost Plus, natural health stores and some Walmarts. The best, safe non harmful moisturizers(if you do another Google you will find so many moisturizer products contain skin harming and aging ingredients) are essential oils and the best oils for acne prone skin are lavender, clove, rosewood grape seed as they have been used by skin specialists to treat and cure acne. Do not clog or cause breakouts or make skin oily. The way to lessen and prevent further wrinkles and lines is to thoroughly massage oil into skin on a daily basis, particularly around mouth. If you make massage quit vigorous and use a forward and back motion(a circular one is not effective) focussing in wrinkles it will reduce them. Depending on how vigorous you do it you will see noticable fading in as little as 3 days. You first need to firm or tighten skin so that there is no pulling or stretching of skin. Essential oils are benficial in countless ways. They feed skin essential nutrients, will rid it of many blemishes and even the most problemmatical skin conditions and give you a healthy, glowing, revitalized skin.

What is the best face wash for acne prone skin?

# Become well-acquainted with baking soda. Seriously, it may seem odd, but baking soda has become one of my best allies in fighting acne. Simply make a paste of baking soda and water (you want to aim for a slightly-thinner than toothpaste consistency) and rub it gently on your skin for about 30 seconds after you have used your facial cleaner. Then, rinse it off gently with warm water. While you can use this two times a day (morning and night), I recommend only using it at night, as it can irritate sensitive skin. As we all know, irritation can only make acne worse.|||It really depends on how bad of acne you have. For example if you have a few zits in a couple areas, you should buy the brands you get at the drugstore, such as (Aveeno, Clean %26amp; Clear, etc).

But if you have bad acne, you should go to a dermatologist and seek help. That%26#039;s what I did, and they gave me trenition gel, I started using that for 4 months, stopped, and after that, I started using Olay, and my face has cleared up since.

But like I said, it depends on how bad of acne you have. You could try Proactiv, too. But, for me, Proactiv didn%26#039;t work at all.

Good luck hope I helped.|||If you have mild or moderate acne then try PanOxyl, its got benzoyl peroxide in it instead of the salicylic acid, which is stronger. ; just be careful with it, only apply it on your worst spots the first time you use it, not everyone can use it., if you have sensitive skin, it might not be for you then. ProActive would be a better way to go.|||Aveeno daily cleansing pads or Neutrogena daily cleansing pads. They both have 10% salicytic acid in them, which help with acne.|||NOTE鈥 HAVE WRITTEN THIS LONG ANSWER TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS RELATING TO BECAUSE THEY COME UP SO OFTEN:

OILY SKIN

ACNE

FACIAL LIGHTENING

DEALING WITH ACNE SCARRING

DEALING WITH STRETCH MARKS

IMPROVING SKIN TONE

PIMPLES

BLACKHEADS

EMERGENCY SPOT TREATMENT

INGROWING HAIRS

BODY ACNE

鈥HE INFO鈥橲 BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE. I鈥橫 36 NOW SO I鈥橵E HAD TO DEAL WITH THESE ISSUES FOR QUITE A WHILE AND THOUGH MUCH OF THIS ANSWER MAY BE IRRELEVANT, I HOPE THERE%26#039;LL BE SOMETHING THAT CAN HELP YOU!

GOOD LUCK!!!

RECOMMENDED SKIN CARE鈥 use clean and clear cream wash (good for sensitive skin or those that dry to easy) or Neutrogena clear skin make up remover wash. Both contain salicylic acid which prevents breakouts and gradually evens the skin tone out too. This is the most important thing you can do. I鈥檝e tried various 鈥榦il free鈥?鈥檚alicylic acid鈥?moisturisers but the best I鈥檝e found is the clean and clear on鈥 found the Neutrogena one actually seemed to aggravate my skin.

EMERGENCY SPOT TREATMENT!...The toothpaste things works! Put on a blob at night and put a bit of tissue over it so it doesn%26#039;t make a mess. It cools the area down and reduces the inflammation. I also recommend the clean and clear advantage spot treatment gel.

HORMONAL SPOTS鈥ny female with spots I%26#039;d recommend trying dianette or yasmine contraceptive pills because if it%26#039;s hormonal that can sort everything out within weeks鈥hough it can take a couple of months to get used to the pill.

FACIAL ACNE: AVOID鈥on%26#039;t use harsh scrubs and peroxide products daily like some people do; that can dry your skin and make produce MORE oil...just exacerbating the problem. Many face packs I鈥檝e tried and those blackhead removal strips too seem to have caused problems.

I鈥檝e also had problems with those 鈥榝acial wipes鈥?made by clean and clear and Neutrogena because they鈥檙e too drying and when the top layer鈥檚 too dry, the oil gets stuck underneath and causes more problems!

Some say chocolate doesn鈥檛 affect it鈥t does for me and I don鈥檛 know how or why that should be but certain foods do seem to affect break out. Coffee is one of those things that seems to aggravate my skin too. So look out for anything you eat that might be making it worse.

HAIR PRODUCTS鈥e careful what products you use in your hair if it%26#039;s long - certain conditioners have causes me to break out at times. Also be careful of hair gels, hair sprays and serums.

INGROWING HAIRS鈥or men or women鈥f you have oily skin, these are more likely. For men鈥se a facial scrub and avoid moisturisers that don鈥檛 have salicylic acid in them if you use a moisturiser. Some hair conditioners are much better lubricants than shaving cream too 鈥?so you might want to try that, and then was afterwards with a clean and clear was etc. Also I recommend the microdermabrasion kit mentioned later.

For women鈥axing seems to cause the main problem 鈥?we pay most attention to our faces. Waxing seems to be the main culprit as opposed to shaving or hair removal creams鈥o avoid in-growing hairs, make sure to exfoliate. I recommend using those exfoliating gloves 鈥?that way, you can use any kind of shower gel.

NUTRITION鈥 recommend taking a 100% multi vitamin/mineral complex 鈥?those little spots you get around your mouth can be due to a vitamin b deficiency for example. Also I recommend Omega 369 oils every day because they improve blood flow.

OLD WIVES TALE??...It%26#039;s an %26#039;old wives tale%26#039; type remedy - but a spoonful of cider vinegar and honey in hot water 3 times a day is meant to help EVERYTHING. It tastes nice too...kinda like honey and lemon X

HYDRATION鈥?Keep your hydration right by drinking plenty of water, avoiding caffeine and alcohol and too much salt!

DEALING WITH SCARRING鈥here鈥檚 an excellent micro-dermabrasion scrub called 鈥榬e-finish鈥? by L%26#039;oreal. You only use it a couple of times a week (and use at night because it makes your face red!). It really works not just with the colouring but also the texture - smoothes it back out. It comes with it%26#039;s own moisturiser which I don%26#039;t use but I use the scrub at night a couple of times a week and put bio oil on which it supposed to help clear scarring and even skin tone.

If you get your skin relatively under control, try using %26#039;21 days Fade Cream%26#039; (which I get from eBay) because it quickly clears up any scarring. It鈥檚 a skin lightening cream and is very effective as long as your skin type agrees with it. Bio oil is a good alternative!

Also, to detract from the colour variations in your skin tone, I recommend using Benefit鈥檚 Posie Tint or Benetint lipstain 鈥?this can be put on your cheeks and lips (which also makes your teeth look whiter as an added bonus). Lipstain is better than lipstick because it doesn鈥檛 smudge and it stays on; you can put lip balm or lip gloss on over it. Also, if you use it (SPARINGLY) on your cheeks, it is just like putting water on there; it doesn鈥檛 aggravate the skin or cause breakouts.

Anyone with oily/acne prone skin try BareMinerals or something similar?

Did it work well with your skin? I bought something with similar ingredients that is oil, talc and fragrance free. Its main ingredient is MIca. But I heard Mica is bad for your skin. Yet I heard Talc is worse, so I%26#039;m pretty confused.

I bought a bronzer product called Karma from Target, for $5.99. It has a girly packaging (like Jane or Bonne Bell). I put on a small amount, its shimmery and it kinda hides my acne scars. I guess the shimmer makes the light reflect off my skin or something.

Today is the first day I wore it.|||Those inexpensive imitations of Bare Minerals is not something I would use if you have problem skin.

Invest in Bare Minerals- you will NOT be disappointed!

I have acne prone skin too and I LOVE Bare Minerals! Ive been using it for two years and my skin has improved SO much. Even in the summer when I break out the worst- my skin stays fresh and clear.

Those drugstore knockoffs have 80% crap (talk mica ect) and a small percentage of actual minerals.

Good luck =)|||My skin is mix, sometimes it%26#039;s oily and sometimes it%26#039;s dry. I have been using Bare Minerals for about a year and I LOVE IT. I have very blotchy skin and it covers every imperfection I have. It is expensive but the best way to get started is to buy a starter kit off the website. Since you use so little it lasts forever. It feels so light on your skin and what they say is true after you use it for a while your skin looks healthier.|||Before you invest in BareMinerals, see if you can%26#039;t find a local BareMinerals store so that you can get a free consultation and makeover. It will give you the opportunity to try it before you buy it. I have never used BareMinerals, but I did use Everyday minerals. I liked it, but I prefer liquid make up to powder makeup. It didn%26#039;t really do anything magical to my skin, even after several months of usage.

If not, I would try some local makeup counters, such as Clinique. Clinique is an excellent line of makeup, won%26#039;t clog pores, cause acne, oil-free, lightweight and has plenty of shades to match your skin color. I have heard good things about Mac, but I know very little about it. Anyways, I would walk through your local Macy%26#039;s or Nordstroms and see if you can%26#039;t get a professional to help you with your skin woes.|||Bare Minerals is perfect for acne prone skin. I%26#039;m not sure if the other brands are as pure. I asked the women who was giving me a facial if she thought using it would be good, and she said it%26#039;s the best foundation because it doesn%26#039;t clog pores. I would recommend buying the starter kit because it comes with a how to video.|||Bare Minerals broke me out and actually made my skin oilier, I found a better brand bee luscious cosmetics liquid powder mineral foundation is really amazing , it has even cleared my skin up. Don%26#039;t worry about getting that BareMinerals crap. I%26#039;ve used it and it sucks. There are so many better products in the drug store that are just as good for your skin. You just have to do a little research and some label reading!

Whats the best affordable skin products for acne prone skin?

Like Cleanser moisturzier and exfoliating products :)

they dont have to all be from the same brand, just the best individual ones that work good for you :)|||Clean and Clear... but it drys out skin so if you want to start using it moisturize.|||Most people mistake breakouts and normal pimples as acne, I would know because I made that mistake. I used the Spectro Acne Care system, which clearned my skin up nicely...but after a while, it dried out my skin. Heavy acne fighting products WILL dry out your skin eventually. A good facial cleansing system is all most people need (seriously, I%26#039;ll take a few pimples over flaking face skin anyday!!!).

So, you need a facial cleansing system for your skin type (acne/breakout prone in your case). Find a line of products (cheap or expensive, both work for acne...though the more you spend, the better your overall skin will look, ie. give you that healthy radiant glow). You want to find and use in this order: a cleanser, (OPTIONAL treatment), a toner, a moisturizer (with SPF is better). Use these products 1-2 times a day (ie. morning and night), be gentle, use warm water as required, and use a CLEAN towel to PAT dry your face (after washing). Do not use the treatment very often, and only apply it where you%26#039;re breaking out, otherwise your skin will get dried out. Treatments are basically creams with a high level of the ingredients that fight the bacteria that cause acne. So pick a line within your price range and voila! Examples are Neutrogena, Garnier, Nivea, Clean %26amp; Clear, etc.

Other tips, don%26#039;t rub or touch your face more than neccessary, as this will cause acne to flare up. Many lines come with regular cleansers, as well as exfoiliating ones. You may also want to use a mask once a week (you%26#039;ll want to spend money on this because they last a long time and do WONDERS for your skin).

Oh also, acne has multiple causes including diet, stress, exercise, etc. So drink plenty of water, switch to whole wheat, stay away from sugary products, and limit (NOT eliminate) your dairy intake. And try doing yoga or stretching.

If you have any questions/concerns or whatever, let me know!|||I found a website called acne.org, and the guy who runs it is a saint!! He tells you exactly what to buy, and how to use it. And it is all OTC and not expensive at all.

He also has his own line which is WONDERFUL!!

Most skin care products are really the same.|||There is no way to tell different things work for different people. I tried proactive and it did not work so did 2 of my brothers and several of my friends. If u have bad acne you should go to a dermatologist and ask about acutane. It is basicly a cure to acne but it has several side effects.|||If you dont have severe acne, then I wouldnt use either. Both are very drying and that is the last thing you need. If you over dry then your body will produce more oil and you will continue to have problems. what you need to try and find is a Balancing system. Dermalogica has some great products, or go to a spa. Spa%26#039;s usually carry very good skin care lines. When your shopping look at the first seven ingredients in your products. If it mainly words you cant pronounce- dont use it. Find things with Lavender, Fennel, Aloe, Rose water or oil, Vitamin E (tocholpherol) Vitamin C ( ascorbic acid) Vitamin A, paypaya, Jojoba oil and beads, lettus, tomatoe, Alpha and Beta Hydroxy acid, ect... These are things your skin will react to. Of course you will see some words you cant pronounce, but theses things are necessary.

But if I were you I would talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. Ask some make-up artist that work for MAC and see what is best for your skin type. This is actually a great dupe for Studio Fix Fluid except the difference is in price AND, it literally will last you all day. It has full coverage, but the liquid itself isn%26#039;t as thick as MAC%26#039;s (which I personally like). It comes in 2 formulas: Combination/Oily and Normal/Dry. I use both (one in the summer when I%26#039;m super oily and acne prone and the other one for winter when I%26#039;m super dry and my skin is sensitve). It%26#039;s noncomedogenic, so it does very little damage to the skin. I also love that it comes in a very WIIDE range of color. You won%26#039;t have a problem finding your shade.

This stuff is amazing. I haven%26#039;t gone back to studio fix fluid since I got this. I probably will in the future when I have more cash that I want to spend, but for now this stuff works wonders and I%26#039;m super happy.|||I also have dry acne prone skin. I can use bare minerals, though, if I use foundation primer (e.g. Smashbox Photofinish) and concealer underneath (the only concealers I%26#039;ve liked have been Makeup Forever and Lancome Photogenic). If you don%26#039;t want to use bare minerals, try a good concealer underneath a Laura Mercier or Lancome foundation. When looking for new products, finding those labeled %26quot;non-comedogenic%26quot; is much more important than finding those labeled %26quot;oil free%26quot;...some oil free products contain other things that can make you break out.

Note that different things are irritating for different people though...you may have no trouble with a brand that makes others break out, and you may have trouble with something that works for others. Unfortunately, you might have to try a few brands before finding what%26#039;s best for your skin. Just remember to save your receipts. Reputable places like the Lancome counter or Sephora stores *will* accept returns on opened products; just explain that the product irritated your skin. When trying something new, I introduce it for 2 weeks or so, making sure not to change anything else in my skincare regimen, and watch my skin carefully. If I start to have a reaction, I return the product right away.

What's the best face wash to use for oily-acne prone skin??

something not too expensive....like that you could buy at target or walmart. thanks!|||I have had severe issues with acne since the summertime 2007. Every week, I%26#039;d get 3 new zits. I started eating certain foods that are supposedly good for skin and I looked into Proactiv. Proactiv is expensive so I wanted to go with that as a last resort. Then I found out what makes that stuff so effective (it%26#039;s the content of active ingredient, benzoyl peroxide) and researched on that as well. Lemme make this short before I bore ya. You don%26#039;t have to get that stuff. Save your money! That major acne-fighting ingredient is in a lot of skin care products- just look. So, I decided to just buy products with that ingredient in it such as Clean %26amp; Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser and Neutrogena Clear Pore鈩?Cleanser/Mask (4.2 fl. oz. tube). The former dried out part of my skin (because it has 10% bp) while the latter worked on my skin perfectly! This one has 3.5% bp and is an acne-fighting formula that can be used two ways鈥揳s a daily cleanser or as a mask. I usually use it as a mask. EVER SINCE I used this on a regular basis, my skin cleared up, all my acne went away within 2 days and I haven%26#039;t had new acne since! I%26#039;m so happy with my complexion now and I%26#039;ve gotten many compliments on the difference of my skin.

I have shared this with so many people because I know how it is to have so much acne and try so many products just for them not to work. This may not be the product for everyone. I have oily, acne-prone skin. For those with dry, normal or combination skin, using a product with ANY amount of bp may dry out your skin further or make it worse.

I also recommend Equate Acne Treatment Cream (1 oz tube) if any zits do appear and you need to get rid of them fast. 1) Everyday Minerals www.everydayminerals.com (*I USE THIS...I have tried the others but this is by far my favorite. I have acne prone skin and mostly oily and this stuff works really well with my face.)

2) L.A. Minerals (I didn%26#039;t really care for this, but it%26#039;s still good. I found the variety is much better with Everyday Minerals)

3) Signature Minerals

DO YOUR RESEARCH.... and even do a search on yahoo answers for %26quot;everyday minerals%26quot; and read what comes up. I honestly don%26#039;t think you would be disappointed.|||Use a mineral foundation, there are lots out there now, they are actually good for your skin. They look very natual as well.|||I use kms mineral essentials. It is an all natural mineral makeup line. My daughter had an issue with bare minerals causing breakouts so we switched. We love that we get the same performance as bare minerals and their customer service department goes above and beyond to help you find the right shade.

You can find them on the web at kmsmineralessentials dot com, and I believe they sell some of their kits on ebay as well.

Good luck to you.|||bare Minerals|||I.D. Bare Minerals, or any other Mineral foundation. Their cosmetics are made from natural minerals that wont affect your skin. I had bad acne when I was younger and I tried all different kinds of foundation, I actually saw this product first on QVC and then it got more popular and they started selling it in stores, I buy mine at Ulta. Mineral foundations are the %26quot;new thing%26quot; now, but they have been around for a while, L%26#039;oreal even makes a cheap mineral foundation, I tried it because the ID Bare Mineral foundation costs $25 and the L%26#039;oreal one only costs $12 but the foundation didnt last through half the day, my Bare Mineral one lasts all day and night..there are two other companies that have them out also, I think the other company is called Sheer Cover or something, they have infomercials on sometimes......bottom line is the Bare Mineral foundation is awesome and wont make you breakout or clog your pores, makes your skin look great and it doesnt feel like you have anything on your face so its worth the money, the cheaper foundations do the same thing but you might have to reapply later in the day. Check out the links below, hope this helps!

P.S.- if you do buy one of the mineral foundations, you dont need to buy all the other %26#039;primer%26#039; stuff to go with it, (its just more money outta your pocket) I just buy the foundation and when I first started I bought one of there foundation brushes. Its worth buying the brush even though they are a lil expensive, its a finer, very soft brush that works a lot better putting on mineral foundation than the ones you can buy at the store.|||Picking the perfect foundation for your skin can be daunting. Here%26#039;s how to go about it while shopping in a department store. Remember, you always want to test before you buy. This is why it%26#039;s best to get your foundations from department stores rather than from the makeup aisle at your local pharmacy or grocery store.

Difficulty: Average

Time Required: 10 minutes

Here%26#039;s How:

1. Consider your skin type. Before you pick the right shade, you need to find out the right formulation for your skin. Are you oily? Dry? Combination?

2. Pick the right formula. If you%26#039;re oily, look for words like %26#039;oil-free%26#039; or %26#039;oil-control%26#039; on the bottle. Got dry skin? Go for moisturizing foundations with %26#039;hydrating%26#039; or %26#039;moisture-rich%26#039; wording on the bottle. For combo skin, determine if you%26#039;re more oily or dry and go from there. Cream-to-powder bases work great for combo skin.

3. Show up to the makeup counter with a clean, fresh face. It%26#039;s OK to wear eye makeup or lipstick, even moisturizer on your face, but you don%26#039;t want to show up already wearing foundation.

4. Select a few colors that seem close to your natural skin tone. Go for the yellow-based foundations, which look most natural on all skin tones. However, if you%26#039;re very fair, try a pink, cooler shade.

Can face peeling is helpful in an acne prone skin?

i have acne on my face.I hv used many medicines but theses are of no help and constant breaking out of acne have left red n dark scars on my fair complexion skin which looks really ugly.My face has become permanent red now which itchies a lot.Somebody told me dat face peeling is helpful in removing scars. Can i go for it as still m having acne. Will peeling improve my condition or will it make my situation more complicated..HELP!|||I would ask a dermatologist.

Have any of the medicines you used been prescribed by a dermatologist. If not, see what they can do for you.

My son got an anti-biotic skin wash and a retin-a lotion and they work great for him.

Your skin is unique and those may not be what%26#039;s best for you. But go see a dermatologist and find out. There are also pills that some people can take, if it is determined that they need them.|||for acne, try proactive www.proactiv.com, and for the scars, try Olay microdermabrasion %26amp;peel kit $25.00, at walmart, , with fair skin you can also use eucerin,it is $11.00 for a large bottle,it is also at walmart. eucerin will stop the itching, and also is good for your complexion. hope this helps. you can also get acutane from the doctor, but you will still need these other things, and it has some bad side effects.

What's the best foundation to use on acne prone skin?

A non-oily one. I%26#039;m not sure of a product at the moment but there%26#039;s lot out there. These are better as the oil doesn%26#039;t block up your pores like the sebum excreted from your skin does naturally. The last thing you want to do is add more oil.

I use foundation most days and have terrible spots on my chin. And I%26#039;ve used all manner of things to get rid of them (prescribed and non-prescribed)-but they don%26#039;t bugde and so I have to make the best of what I have.

(I use %26#039;L%26#039;oreal True Match Foundation%26#039; Just looking at their website, its says it has %26#039;non-greasy oils.%26#039; I found it to be one of the best for blemished skin because it adjusts to the different colours of it-hence %26#039;True Match%26#039; , and it really does work.)

From personal experience, foundation doesn%26#039;t seem to affect my skin to much. I use a barrier gel (from Superdrug%26#039;s own line) first, let it dry and then apply foundation. I then apply a darker powder to give a matt finish. And then a lighter one so that I don%26#039;t look to orange from the darker one. I have to do this as I%26#039;m pale-skinned and I would look ridiculous otherwise.

Also, I found that washing my face less often helped. I used to use a gentle exfoliant twice a day and then realised that this was making the problem worse becasue I just kept opening up my pores and irritating them, and so the spots just looked even redder than before. So fianally, I let my self believe what all the webistes and people on TV said-It%26#039;s not dirt that causes spots, it%26#039;s oil and sebum. By washing my face, I was drying it out to much as so my skin made more oil to compensate. Viscious circle!

If I go out for night I don%26#039;t even bother taking my make-up off when I come in-probably the biggest taboo in the make-up world! But to be honest it makes little difference to my skin because I haven%26#039;t washed my skin in a rush to go to bed and so it%26#039;s not inflamed. And the barrier gel is still there between my skin and my make-up. Still, I wouldn%26#039;t reccomend it for anyone else.|||Aloette Ultra Finish

It is a mineral makeup that is vitamin infused....

It is your concealer, makeup, %26amp; powder in one...

Moisturizer for extremely dry skin, and acne prone skin?

My face gets VERY dry in the winter and cold months, which have already started. And I have a bad acne problem so i can%26#039;t use any oily moisturizers. What's a good homemade face (for oily acne-prone skin), hand and foot scrub?

An egg white for oily skin-separate the egg and apply the white to your face and let it dry. For a scrub, mix sea salt (you can buy coarse sea salt at the grocery store in the baking aisle) and mix it with lotion or use it plain in the shower on your dry skin. Coffee grounds work well also. Sugar doesn%26#039;t always work-the sugar granules dissolve in water.|||I make a salt scrub for mature skin, but I have advised customers on just what you are asking.

I think you can make a good homemade face, hand, and foot scrub with grapeseed or sunflower oil (10% jojoba extends the shelf life) along with the sea salt already mentioned. Grapeseed is a light, non-greasy oil that lubricates and does not penetrate so easily.

Just fill your container with sea salt. Use grapeseed with a little jojoba or sunflower (full of vitamin e that also helps preserve) and mix it in with your salt. A nice essential oil or sweet orange or tangerine or lemongrass would also benefit oily skin. And, use this (your own product) once to twice a week.

You will love the way your skin feels when you are done.|||I think some combination of sugar, honey, lemon juice, banana, and/or olive oil? Haha I%26#039;ve done it before. Just google the recipe.

Why is iodine and milk bad for acne prone skin?

?|||It%26#039;s the iodine that is used to clean the cow%26#039;s udders and the milking machinery-- traces of it get into the milk. Therefore, drinking lots of milk ups a persons iodine intake and causes them to break out. Some people are more sensitive to it than others, almost like an allergy.

I used to drink glasses upon glasses of milk every day and had horrible skin. It wasn%26#039;t until my mom read an article in Prevention magazine that featured this odd story that I had ever heard of such a thing. Stopped drinking milk, my skin cleared up within a week. Sleep on a clean pillow case every few days, you can put tea tree oil on it at night, use the mint julep mask t wice a week. That really helps. Also make sure you exfoliate twice a week to get rid of dead skin cells. Make sure your clenser has acne medicine and most importantly drink plenty of water. That will help the most. I used to have problem skin, but now it is smooth and clear. I also put baking soda mixed with water on my face nad take a shower. it helps to exfoliate. That is what makes it baby soft. Good luck. What works for one person might not work for others. Using witch hazel as an astrigent also helps some people. You first need to address this issue with oily skin. I recommend and use Coonobabe

For the oily skin use either their Kepaya (papaya cleanser) or Pepino (cucumber based) cleanser followed by either their Savila toner, Seng %26amp; Sang toner. After washing with cleanser, I pat dry with clean towel, then apply toner and allow to air dry. I repeat this on hot/humid days, but it%26#039;s worth it since my skin is clean to the touch now. Suggest you stay away from acne cleansers since those tend to be as harsh as hand soap. Every time I%26#039;ve used them my skin would get bone dry, flaky, and itchy. Strangely, my skin would start to over produce oil, and get breakouts with super dry skin. So I don%26#039;t use those anymore.

For foundation suggest you try their Savila base, then lightly top it off with their Happy Ending powder. Try to avoid putting on blush, just stick to lipstick/gloss, eyeshadow and some light foundation applications. Hope this helps.

Google Coonobabe

btw - they ship 4 free, made in USA, do not test on animals - a must for me.|||stop wearing makeup.

thats why you have the acne that you have and oily skin because by using cover up or foundation like every day your clogging your pores so just stop using that and just use cream. like when you wake up in the morning put cream on your face and THATS IT! if you wanna put like eyeliner or mascara or eyeshadow on then go ahead but dont put cover up or foundation.
