What's a good moisturizer for normal/ acne prone skin?

Find a Mary Kay consultant and get something through them. I have been using the products since I was 15, and it was the ONLY product that would make my skin pretty AND get my acne under control. I%26#039;m 26 now and will never switch!

Good stuff.

I, personally, use the age-fighting moisturizer with spf 15 in it... I%26#039;d recommend doing a free facial though and having them recommend the best one for you. ;)|||whatever you do DO NOT use Clinique face care for acne prone skin. What is the best minerals foundation for acne prone skin?

I%26#039;m wondering too.|||If you have oily and acne skin, you should use mineral based makeups since they are light, gentle on the skin, won%26#039;t clog pores. Also, the minerals have anti-aging and sun protection properties that are good for the skin. Most skin care experts and dermatologists recommend to use mineral makeups.

What kind of make-up will cover my acne prone skin?

what kind of make-up can i use to cover acne scars and the redness?.. i have moderate acne. i use bare minerals right now but it makes my ance look purple.|||Use Pro Active, make up can%26#039;t cover or hide acne! It makes it worse!|||Whatever you do, don%26#039;t pile on the concealers, the foundations and the powders. That is only going to clog your pores more, giving you more acne, more redness etc.

I%26#039;ve been using Lancome Effacernes concealer. It%26#039;s a waterproof concealer made for under your eyes but it%26#039;s amazing at hiding any redness from previous acne and making your skin look very even. You might also want to try getting a green concealer too as that cancels out redness. When you use concealer DAB it on the spot you are covering and even invest in a tiny concealer brush too and you%26#039;ll see the difference it makes. I would not recommend using foundation because that way it%26#039;s like you are putting a mask of makeup all over your face and your skin won%26#039;t breathe.

I also use Avon%26#039;s ideal shade powder too. I dust a bit over my face when I%26#039;m done with my concealer. It hasn%26#039;t broken me out yet, but I don%26#039;t use it every day either. |||The best make up that I have come across for very good skin coverage is called DermaBlend. I have a scar on my face that I had a terrible time covering up with concealer. I also have a lot of freckles, and couldn%26#039;t find a foundation that would give me good coverage without looking cakey or too orange. Dermablend took care of both of these problems. I got a scar cover, concealer, foundation, and powder, and between those there isn%26#039;t much I can%26#039;t cover up when I need to. I think it would be the same scenario for acne.

I got my supply at JCPennys (who often sends coupons on the products) and at the ULTA store. Hope that helps!|||Whatever you do, do not use that mousee foundation. it made my acne like 10 times worsee!

Right now i use sheer cover and it works really well and my acnes cleared up since ive been using it.

it might be like bare minerals though :/ but the concelear doenst make mine purple.

do you use only the concelear?

i put on concealer then the power foundation then a little more concealer where it got messed up and then i use this all in one base power from the body shop.

sounds like a lot, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do ahhaa

good luck!|||you dont want to use makeup if you have acne prone skin. you probably wont want to try my idea like most people and thinks its bs, but i used to have really bad acne around my mouth and nose and forehead. i was getting sick of using all these harsh %26#039;acne%26#039; products and just covering the problem with makeup so i tried something totally different. i washed my face only once a day with mild soap. either use baby shampoo or dove bar soap. i used NOTHING on my face. no moisturizer, no cremes, no makeup....guess what, my face is perfectly clear and i have no had a pimple in almost 2 years. i also switched my birthcontrol which i attribute alot of my success too. those acne washes etc are far too harsh, you need to cleanse with a mild cleanser and keep your pores free of makeup and cremes etc. good luck! What skin care products work for acne prone skin?

if have a few pimples here and there, but im 11 years old so what r good products to keep my face vibrant, acne free, and fesh looking.|||if you are 11 years old, you should not be using too many skin care products already as your skin is still very fresh and young. Drink lots of fruit juices and lots of water ( best natural cleanser for your body!), especially if it%26#039;s hot outside. cleanse your face and neck in the morning and at night with a light facial wash which is soap free, try brands like Cetaphil Gentle Daily Cleanser or Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser if you wear makeup. If you sweat a lot during the daytime, it is probably a good idea to cleanse during the day too. After you cleanse your face, you can apply a little, light facial moisturiser, if you need any , or only to the areas of your face that are dry.

Is Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser strong enough for someone with kind of oily and acne prone skin?

I don%26#039;t have severe acne, I just get a lot of little zits... mostly in the t- zone... never on my cheeks or anything. People say they%26#039;re not noticeable, but I notice, and they drive me up the wall.|||I would recommend Clinique 1,2,3 skin care if you can afford it. If not, wash face with mild liquid soap like a foaming cleanser. The Cetaphil is leaving a film on your face. You can make your own clarifying lotion. Witch Hazel is cheap. Mix it with a little water on a cotton pad. Really swab the area prone to bumps. Then use the Cetaphil moisturing lotion. Clinique is best, but this should work. Good luck.|||I don%26#039;t have acne but I still use it and it makes my skin really smooth. I%26#039;m sure if you started useing it , after a few weeks it would clear up.

Best tinted moisterizer(maybe foundation) for dry acne prone skin?

I take acne medication and it really helps but makes my skin dry and flaky. I need soemthing that covers well and feels light. It needs to last all day. SOemthing that can be found at a drug store? THX!|||I am a makeup artist.

Although I always say you should invest in a good foundation, because it is your canvas, I think I can help you pick out some decent drugstore brands.

The best thing for you to be using if you don%26#039;t need much coverage and have dry skin is a little bit of concealer and TINTED MOISTURIZER. One that I find worthy of hype is Physician%26#039;s Formula Organic Wear Tinted Moisturizer ($10-$12). You could also try Neutrogena Healthy Skin Tinted Moisturizer ($12): http://www.drugstore.com/qxp139818_33491…

If you need more coverage, opt for a creme or liquid foundation. Stay away from powders, as they will dry your skin even more. A decent inexpensive liquid foundation is Cover Girl Advanced Radiance ($14), and the best cream foundation is Covergirl Aquasmooth ($9). You should also try Carmindy%26#039;s collection from Sally Hansen.

You should ALWAYS use a good moisturizer after washing your face, and right before you put on foundation. If you find that even moisturizing foundations are making you dry, add some moisturizer to your foundation. I use Elizabeth Arden%26#039;s Velva Moisture Film, followed by Rimmel%26#039;s Fix %26amp; Perfect Primer, scoop out a little bit of liquid foundation on your hand, squeeze a few dots of moisturizer on top, and mix it with your foundation brush then apply immediately.

Physician%26#039;s Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Matte Finishing Veil: ~$13.00 individual, ~$20 in 3 the pack

The 3 pack is not on the website, but I know for a fact it is sold at Target. It%26#039;s probably sold at Walmart, and wherever they carry physician%26#039;s formula products. The colors I saw that it came in were fair, light, and medium.

I have oily skin, so here’s a tip if you do, too. Just carry around the Talc-Free Matte Finishing Veil in a purse or backpack (for school or work or shopping or whatever) and apply it when you feel oily. It%26#039;s 100% translucent, so it just eats the oil without looking chalky or heavy.

To me, the mineral powder and blush looked hard, like I%26#039;d have to scrape it with my powder brush, but really it comes of quite easily. Take the brush it comes with and just dab it on, it%26#039;ll come off with hardly any rubbing at all.|||neutragena has a foundation that doubles as acne medication. You should try that. ALMOST - while trying it out I found that I LOVE the blue bottle of %26quot;primer%26quot; you%26#039;re supposed to use just before the lotion. It%26#039;s the only part of the product that has been truly beneficial.

I had really dry peely skin and when I use this it will keep it clear for the entire day. I just rub it in by hand. Lotion would not help me, as it would absorb into my skin too rapidly which would start peeling again.

My advice:

1.) Stay away from anything with sugar or corn syrup

2.) Use the proactive blue primer/toner stuff

This has done wonders for me. I had really bad skin and now I%26#039;m pretty clear for the most part. The sugar is REALLY bad though.

What is the best lotion for sensitive acne prone skin?

proactive :)|||There%26#039;s something called Face Doctor. It%26#039;s all natural and has herbs in it and healthy vitamins that help make your face look natural and rosy, and get rid of those yucky red bumps (trust me, my face is prone to acne too)

There%26#039;s a soap and a cream, you can use just the cream, but they work best when used together.

The one ingredient that helps the most is sea buck thorn oil. so if you don%26#039;t want to try Face Doctor. Look for a cream or soap that has sea buck thorn in it.

You can get Face Doctor at Shoppers or Pharma Plus.

However, if you don%26#039;t want to go with the natural ingredients, you can look for a product that says salicylic acid on it. Most neutrogena products have it in them. It helps get ride of pimples and acne before they even start.

Hope this helps:)|||Heya!

I would suggest something with Alpha Hydroxy acids or Glycolic Acid. They are found in fruits and sugar cane, and they help speed up the exfoliation process!

If you have acne, chances are you aren%26#039;t exfoliating enough and your skin could use it ;D

I use Kiss My Face 8% AHA Cream (about 8 bucks) for the face and neck, and I%26#039;m happy with it!! It also smells great!

If you want to take it a step further, mix a bit of benzoyl peroxide (I use Oxy 10%) in with the lotion and apply it after you get out of the shower. It%26#039;s really helped my skin!!

Do NOT NOT NOT use anything with mineral oil!! It will make you break out even more... I%26#039;ve learned that the hard way! Also, lotions with shea and cocoa butter are great, but AHA and Glycolic are the best to me.

GOOD LUCK!

However, if you do one every other month it won%26#039;t take long to get a good complexion.|||Yes, it%26#039;s true.|||I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It%26#039;s time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn鈥檛 use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured鈥f we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don鈥檛 want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.|||I believe that it all depends on what kind of acne you have and if your diet is good. I want to try proactiv...but Im afraid that it could be too hars for my skin.

I know im used to benzoyl peroxide because I use it A lot

If you have acne prone skin, does it mean that you have sensitive skin?|||nope it means you have oily skin|||sensitive skin means that it dries out really easy and you get red bumps from the dead skin.If you have acne-prone skin, then proactive would be perfect.|||While the two coincide, having acne-prone skin does not necessarily make your skin sensitive. If your skin is indeed sensitive, you would notice reactions on your skin other than your face to products that you come into contact with in your day-to-day life. Do you have contact allergies (skin rashes from touching certain substances)? Have you broken out in rashes at various times in your life? If you answered these questions %26quot;no%26quot;, then I%26#039;d say it%26#039;s safe to try the Proactiv. Just try it slowly, and if you see any irritation, discontinue the use. You could also try the product on an inconspicuous area of your skin.

What is the best facial cleanser for oily/acne prone skin?

What is the best cleanser that cleans deep down into pores and removes dirt, oil, and makeup, that also kills bacteria that causes acne breakouts while it tones skin?|||I have oily skin too so I know it can be a pain (especially in summer). Here are some causes of oily skin and also my personal regimen for getting rid of oil. Hope it helps. Good luck. =)

Several things can cause oily skin: heredity, diet, hormonal levels, pregnancy, humidity, hot weather, and in women; cosmetics and birth control pills.

On the plus side, your skin will age slower =) but on the negative side, oily skin promotes enlarged and clogged pores, black heads and sometimes acne.

To cleanse your oily skin, use oil-based cleansers because they dissolve oil (an example would be: Forever Young, Emollient Facial Cleanser; you can find it here: http://www.opcforyourhealth.com/fy_clean鈥?/a> ) and hot water (this also helps to dissolve oil).

For moisturizing (which you still need to do鈥?unless you want more wrinkles when you get older), use oil-free moisturizers (an example would be: Physicians Formula, Oil Control, Oil Free Moisturizer; You can find it here: http://www.ulta.com/control/product/~pro鈥?/a> ). This will help to maintain a shine-free complexion.

Another good way of absorbing oils is clay or mud masks. If you have sensitive skin, look for white or rose colored clays. Once or twice a week you should use a clarifying mask to remove build up.|||Ive heard biore is good or noxema ive tried noxema but since i didnt have oily skin it made my skin kinda dry|||Oily skin:

! Salicylic Acid (2%) (For treatment of acne) -

Salicylic acid is readily absorbed from the skin and may cause toxicity, particularly in children and the newborn. Herbal products such as the chinese medicated oil which contains methyl salicylate is also absorbed through gastrointestinal mucosa following ingestion. [2], [3]

Some people particularly asthmatics, exhibit marked sensitivity to salicylate, resulting in various reactions including urticaria and other skin eruptions, angioneuritis, oedema, rhinitis and severe and even fatal paroxysmal bronchospasm and dyspnea, hypotension, shock and syncope. Despite the fact that the symptoms (such as the ones mentioned above) resemble anaphylaxis, this reaction does not appear to be immunological in nature. It may be a shunt towards the lipoxygenase pathway leading to an increased production of leukotrienes and other inflammatory mediators. [4]

The relationship between the use of salicylate and Reye%26#039;s syndrome in children and adolescents (mostly 5 to 15 years) has been demonstrated by epidemiological studies.[5]

Salicylic acid can make people more susceptible to the damaging effects of the sun, including sunburn. At a meeting in February 2000, the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel, the cosmetic industry%26#039;s independent body for reviewing the safety of cosmetic ingredients, reached the tentative conclusion that the use of salicylic acid related substances in cosmetics is %26quot;safe as used when formulated to avoid irritation and when formulated to avoid increased sun sensitivity.%26quot; CIR added that %26quot;when sun sensitivity would be expected, directions for use [should] include the daily use of sun protection.%26quot; [6]

Propylene Glycol -

In certain medicines, cosmetics, and food products, propylene glycol acts as an emulsifying agent, industrial drying agent, surfactant, and solvent. It has been shown to cause contact dermatitis in sensitive individuals.[8]

Dermal: Absorption may be rapid: in an infant with burns who received cream containing propylene glycol for ten consecutive days, cardiopulmonary arrest occurred one hour after the cream had been re-administered after a two-day drug-free interval.[9]

Local irritation and hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Systemic effects are less marked than after oral ingestion and are more likely after repeated administration. However, there is evidence that systemic effects may immediately follow local application.[10]

Sodium Laureth Sulfate -

Sodium laureth sulfate, or sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES), is a detergent and surfactant found in many personal care products (soaps, shampoos, toothpaste etc.). It is an inexpensive and very effective foamer. Products containing these substances can affect those prone to eczema and other irritants. These chemicals provide a foaming quality to the product, allowing for better distribution of the product while washing hair or skin and while brushing teeth. When rinsed off, the product will have cleaned the area but will have taken moisture from the top layers of skin. In people with sensitive skin (prone to dermatitis, acne, eczema, psoriasis and chemical sensitivity), the drying property of these type of detergents can cause flare-ups of skin conditions or may worsen existing conditions[11].

Cocamidopropyl Betaine -

Cocamidopropyl betaine is a surfactant coming into wide use in shampoos and other cleansing products. Recent reports have implicated it as a potential allergen, although it is less irritating than other surfactants such as sodium lauryl sulfate. Cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB) is a surfactant, and reports of allergic contact dermatitis to this chemical have been reported in the literature. Although most commonly found in rinse-off products, the chemical nonetheless has been shown to induce allergy. The actual component responsible for allergic reaction may be the final compound itself, CAPB, or one of the substances used in its synthesis that may be present as an impurity. Allergy to CAPB is most commonly seen in a head and neck distribution, although other patterns have been identified[12].

Trithanolamine -

737 patients with suspected cosmetic- or medicament-related contact dermatitis were patch tested with 6 emulsifier agents: triethanolamine, cetyl stearyl alcohol, sorbitan sesquioleate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monopalmitate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate, and Amerchol L 101. 39 patients (5.3%) gave 1 or more positive patch tests to emulsifiers. A total of 54 positive reactions were found, 23 of which were clinically relevant, triethanolamine being the most frequent sensitizer. Patients with emulsifier sensitivity generally give a high prevalence of positive patch tests to other common ingredients of topical preparations, such as preservatives or active ingredients. Cosmetics and topical medicaments were detected as the source of sensitization in an equal number of patients. Patch tests with patients%26#039; own causative preparations were frequently negative. To avoid overlooking emulsifier sensitivity, it is advisable to test these compounds in patients with contact dermatitis that is possibly due to topical preparations, regardless of whether they have other clinically relevant positive reactions or whether patch tests with their own products are negative[13].

Are oreos okay to eat with acne prone skin?

Ok, I%26#039;m not an idiot- I know that *obviously* oreos won%26#039;t HELP your skin, but will they really bother your skin?

If I eat 3 or so oreos, is there really going to be a significant difference in my complexion? Will I break out?|||Actually, oreos might not be a prudent choice. Two or three would okay, but not like, 10. Oreos contain the most annoying ingredient that causes acne. Sugar. Sugar is really bad for your pimples, as it feeds bad bacteria into your system. Avoid it, and drink lotssa water!

What's the best full-coverage Foundation for acne-prone skin?

run a face cloth under hot water at night... steaming hot though...

ring it out and blot your face...

dont use foundation... worst thing for you..

best is to not use anything....|||Try a lighter option such as tinted moisturiser or the new Maybelline oil-free.|||I have been using Bare Minerals by Bare Escentuals. If you get the starter kit it comes with everything you need. I use the concealer brush dipped into the foundation first to cover areas I need a little extra and then swirl more all over to even out my skin. My acne actually cleared up. It%26#039;s nice to feel like your skin is breathing all day. I would recommend going to a store that carries it to have them demonstrate it on your skin. If you%26#039;re close to a Sephora store, stop on in they%26#039;re great there!|||First of all stop trying to look flawless. You are not a mannequin. Your skin will never be flawless. Right now you just want to conceal. Try any foundation that is oil-free and hypo-allergenic. Also liquid foundation seems to provide the best finish.

Conceal blemishes with a concealer stick and smudge on liquid foundation. Remember to properly cleanse your skin first, tone and moisturize. Apply acne medication then concealer, then foundation.

The most important tip I can give you is to not touch your face with your hands during the day. You touch all types of things during the day. When you touch your face you are putting nasty bacterias onto your acne prone skin. After you eat wash your hands, after you touch something wash your hands. Carry some hand sanitizer in your purse.

At night use those make up remover cloths to remove all your make up. Then cleanse your skin with an acne cleanser never soap. Apply toner, then apply an oil free moisturizer.

Do not forget the acne medication. Benzyol Peroxide works best. If you are allergic or have sensitive skin, like me, try salicylic acid.

Most important...DO NOT PICK YOUR ACNE. BACTERIA...BACTERIA!

Drink lots of water and exercise or do some type of sweating activity. It is good for you skin.

I hope these suggestions help!!!!!!!!!!

I found the bare essentials did not cover the dark acne marks left.

I have oily skin too and it%26#039;s some more acne prone. More than acne, it%26#039;s the scarring left behind that I try to cover.

One foundation that works incredibly is CoverFx . it%26#039;s a compact foundation. With this, I dont have to use a concelear. Just the foundation covers well and it didn%26#039;t cause a breakout.

I actually broke out when i tried prescriptives.

Shiseido has also worked well for me, but my colors keep getting discontinued. I found my perfect tone in Cover Fx since it comes in 40 shades.|||I know it might be uncomfortable for you but the best thing to do while waiting for a breakout to clear up is to wear no makeup at all =/. Makeup can only aggravate the skin even more and create more pimples by clogging up the pores. If you find it absolutley neccessary to cover up however, I suggest Bare Minerals. It shouldn%26#039;t cause any more breakouts. The only trick with applying that makeup is that less really is more. Learn how to properly apply it and you should love it!

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>|||get a medicated foundation. my friend has some from clinique. it helps your skin while you wear it, and it%26#039;s a powder, so it %26quot;soaks up%26quot; the oil. also try using Clearasil wipes. I%26#039;ve used them for three days, and already i have a HUGE difference in my acne. its almost nonexistent as opposed to angry red whiteheads, blackheads all over my forehead. all in all, a medicated foundation is best because it won%26#039;t clog your pores. medicated foundations can also be a bit pricey, but make sure you take them off at night. Clearasil will also minimize the look of pores. don%26#039;t use a liquid as it will clog your pores, and increase the look of pores. also, you may want to get rid of your acne completely before your use foundation so that you aren%26#039;t transferring the acne all over your face when using the powder puff.|||I am 20 and I seem to have that oily T-Zone still. I did just recently find a really inexpensive foundation that worked wonders for my oily skin. It%26#039;s by the manufacturer Jane and it%26#039;s oil free foundation. It will NOT help with your acne but it%26#039;s FANTASTIC on coverage. Occasionally I have a pimple or two and that oil-free base seemed to cover EVERYTHING right on up. It%26#039;s the cheapest make-up I%26#039;ve ever bought too which makes it that much better. If you%26#039;re looking to clear up your acne, I would leave that in the hands of a face wash or face mask. If you%26#039;re like me, you don%26#039;t leave the house without putting your face on. I do though make sure that I wash my face at least twice a day with a mild soap. Good luck to you doll and I hope this information was helpful!|||Avoid greasy foods, get plenty of sleep each night, even if you want to stay up, get into a routine so your body clock is right - our skin rejuvenates while we%26#039;re asleep so the more rest the better.

Try not to touch your face, even with clean hands. :)

Maybe aim to drink 1 or 2 glasses of water a day if you cant manage 8, (I personally think 8 is way too many anyway ;D)

Harsh acne creams arent so great for skin, even if its really severe acne. They dry the skin out way too much.

Clean and Clear products are great. Try using blotting paper during the day. They come in little packets and they usually contain powder and tea tree. You can take them anywhere and all you have to do is sweep them across your T-ZONE area and they soak up the layer of oil.

Dont stop moisturizing even if your skin is oily, because oily skin still needs moisturiser. Use light, mineral, pure makeup.

What are some good products for dry acne-prone skin?

I have acne prone skin, but every time I go to buy something, people try to sell me something for oily skin, and because my skin is dry, it gets dried out more, so then it turns into a flaky mess. I tried Proactiv... it dried me out. If you want to recommend something, please also use the name of the actual cleanser. Thanks soooo much|||It is important to keep spot-prone areas clean, so wash the affected area twice a day with a perfume-free cleanser. Do bear in mind that the skin needs a certain amount of oil to maintain its natural condition. Therefore, avoid washing your face many times, that too, with a strong soap. I would recommend Cetaphil and Neutrogena face washes as they are mild and good for cleaning acne-affected skin.

Tea tree oil is considered to be a good anti-acne agent. Sandalwood paste and Fuller鈥檚 earth (multani mitti) are also used by some to dry out the excessive oil. Whats the best way to treat acne prone skin without takign medicine. What worked fo others?

first of all, avoid using products formulatted with mineral oil and animal products. These do not get absorbed by the skin and what it does is that it clogs your pores. In fact mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skins health #1 is the sun, it is like rubbing car oil on your skin and exposing yourself to the sun... Animal product come form rendering plants, these plants pick all dead animals from the road, meatmarkets etc and what they do is put them in a huge pot and squash everything inside and boil it the oil that comes to the top is what other companies use to formulate their %26quot;beauty%26quot; products ... gross i know.. eww lipstick and aghhh .. anyway, the important thing to do is read your ingredients and use the right ones regularly .... also bathing daily cleanses the skin, but it also can dry it out, causing it to look dull, but most importantly, it may cause irritation and remove the natural emolients your body produces to keep it healthy. When you bathe, always use a moisture-rich cleanser, and always pamper your skin with a daily moisturizer. I use arbonne products.... https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arb鈥?/a> because they are botanically based and you could really see the difference, i had acne and lots of blemishes and my skin has cleared so much, it really is amazing and they have everything for everybody.... theire deep pore cleansing mask and their scrub is just perfect for eliminating the blackheads. Also their face wash is great because it cleanses without drying and removes all traces of makeup and dirt.... works wonderful for me and the bes thing is that you could shop online, receive it in your house and if ther is something you do not like about the products which is rarely to happen, you return the item and they give your money back .... also check this site from the fox news about toxins in beauty products..... http://easylink.playstream.com/ydc/Arbon鈥?/a>|||I recommend Clinique products. 1. The cleanser manually exfoliates the skin with its gentle beads without irritating ingredients.

2. The toner is an AHA (glycolic acid in this case) solution that has the right PH range and doesn%26#039;t contain other irritating ingredients. It further exfoliates the skin. The texture of this solution feels clean and refreshing.

3. The %26quot;repairing lotion%26quot; is a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide solution that is in the right PH range and doesn%26#039;t contain other irritating ingredients. This ingredient kills the bacteria that causes acne. The texture of Proactiv%26#039;s lotion is one of the best. It blends easily, stays on well, and is not too think. It seems to work pretty well under makeup, too,

Combining all 3 elements, Proactiv is an effective package. The only drawback is that it is really expensive. For products that might be as effective but much less expensive, I%26#039;d recommend the following website:

Thanks.|||Beware of using any products for acne unless they have been prescribed or recommended by your doctor. Often antibiotics are needed to treat acne, so you should see a doctor about it.

People make all kinds of suggestions about the best thing to do to cure acne. Some cures I’ve heard include putting oatmeal, honey, lemon juice, tea tree oil, cucumber, vinegar, milk of magnesia or toothpaste on your face. Practically every cosmetics company and company that makes personal care products makes something that is a “sure cure” for acne. If we think about this, and use some common sense, we have to come to the conclusion that there is no quick or easy cure for acne, because if there was it would be well known and doctors would be telling everyone about it.

Numerous companies make a lot of money persuading people to buy products that at worst will make the acne worse, and at best may help some people a little. Often fewer products are better. People often make their acne much worse by using too many products. There really is no quick fix for acne. Don’t spend a lot of money on products just because their ads say that they will cure acne. Your doctor is the best person to ask for help, and he or she may recommend some prescription medication or non-prescription treatment that may be suitable for you..

There are some very simple and basic things you can do that cost nothing. Keep your face or any other area affected by acne very clean. Any mild antibacterial soap will help with that. Rinse the area well to remove all soap residue. Drink plenty of water – it really does help to clear up acne. Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep. A healthy life style will make a difference. Try to reduce the stress in your life – stress contributes to acne, so also probably the more you worry about the acne and focus on it, the worse it will be.

Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.

Gently apply fresh limejuice on pimples and blackheads.

Dab the mixture made by combining 1 tsp fresh coriander powder and a pinch of turmeric powder on the pimples, while going to bed in the night and wash it off when you wake up the next morning.

Take a few fresh curry leaves and make a paste. Apply the paste on the acne-affected area and keep it overnight and wash it off with warm water the next morning.

Apply the paste made of nutmeg (Jaiphal) and raw milk on acne and wash it off after 20 minutes. Do it for about 10-12 days and see the magical effects.

Take some fresh fenugreek leaves and make a paste to apply on the acne pimples overnight.

For people with oily skin, the perfect home remedy is to apply a paste made by mixing sandalwood and few drops of rosewater on the acne affected area for about an hour and then wash off gently.

For dry skin, the best remedy is to take a piece of sandalwood and rub it on a smooth stone and make a paste using a few drops of raw milk. Apply the mixture on the acne and keep it for an hour and thereafter gently wash with water.
