What is the best makeup for acne-prone skin?

More specifically, for acne-prone, sensitive, combination skin? Liquid or stick foundation, and concealer.|||none of the above...

as an chronic acne sufferer, i use a mineral powder.

i currently use a mineral powder made by arbonne. it%26#039;s amazing. i have also used and liked i.d./bare minerals/bare escentuals. (it has like 3 names...) both products are very good.

i wouldn%26#039;t recommend it, but you can sleep in the mineral powders. it won%26#039;t clog your pores or damage your skin.

liquid foundation can be oily, greasy, and uncomfortable. mineral powder is not. plus, the powder looks more natural and you don%26#039;t get make up lines!!|||Mary Kay makes a Velocity cleanser and moisturizer for teens, and all their products are non commenogetic (Don%26#039;t know how to spell it, but means they don%26#039;t clog pores). They are available at www.marykay.com/rebecca|||clinque is the bomb. go to make up clounter and let them help select proper colors and makeup.

go to a dermatogist !!!!!!!!!!! for help with acne

clinque is very gentle and clean.......|||I would stay away from anything with Mineral oil in it. Arbonne is definately the best. They have a testing on all their products if one person has a reaction they send it back and reformulate. I would be happy to give you more info or send you a sample. go to www.arbonne.com for more info I say stay away from products with lots of parabens and Mineral oil. Yuck for your skin. They actually distupt your hormones and that makes acne worse.(and PMS) yes all from moneral oil.|||The best makeup I%26#039;m sorry to say, is NO MAKEUP! But I know, I didn%26#039;t listen to that either... ok, so definitely you want a water based foundation, and a tint would be fine...(minimal color with adequate coverage for smoothing out the redness of sensitive skin). Clinique made a product like this 25 years ago(!) when I had similar skin type, %26amp; they still do! Go to the Clinique counter at any major department store %26amp; check out their line of cosmetics as well as cleansing products that are made for your skin type.

Concealer for....? under eye darkness? You can find an oil- free concealer to use for that. Clinique may have one...but I currently use one by Mary Kay. It is yellow, but it does cover the dark circles!! Avoid consealer sticks (they look like lipstick tubes) the skin under your eyes is extremely fragile, and the hardness of those sticks can sometimes do more damage in the long run than the good they seem to do right now. If the concealer is for facial scars, Dermablend makes an excellent coverage product.

Hope this helps!|||First and formost....acne prone skin needs special care...

You must cleanse and moisturize your skin twice a day. When you wake up and before bedtime.

Never ever skip this!

Plus, you should use all of the SAME products......

If you use a Maybelline cleanser, use a Maybelline moisturizer....and Maybelline foundation. Products are made to go together.

If you really want great skin....use ALL of the Mary Kay products. They are lightweight.

You would need the liquid Medium Coverage Foundation from Mary Kay....it%26#039;s specially formulated for oily skin.

If you don%26#039;t have a Mary Kay consultant, get one......go to marykay.com to find one in your area. Ask her for a free facial. She will give you lots of tips, and show you the proper application techniques.....plus facials are FREE from Mary Kay!|||Use the Proactive makeup line. Not only was created for acne-prone skin, but they are light in texture and very natural looking, plus they won%26#039;t cloged the pores. I use them and they are great. If you are prone to acne use their treatment. Good luck!|||Clinique.|||I like Lycogel. It%26#039;s light weight, has spf 30 and it heals as it covers. No need for powder and it%26#039;s waterproof. You can get it through plastic surgeons and some dermatologists offices. Or look it up online for your area distributors.|||try bare minerals it wont clog your pores and makes your skin look flawless,i use it ALL the time!|||dont even use make up, cuz that would just make your face worst. Http://clearskintoday.info try this first trust me it helps. also drink lots of water. these 2 combinations should leave you acne free. enjoy|||Look for products that say non comegentic. That means it won%26#039;t clog up your pores.|||Mary Kay liquid med coverage foundation!!! I also use the skin care line and watch you%26#039;ll barely break out!

Don%26#039;t use bare minerals, it ruined my skin :(|||as little as possible. Use an astringent such as witchhazel first. Do not let hot water on your skin; only lukewarm. After washing face put cold water from tap staight on face to close pores.|||bare minerals

they sell it at ulta you can buy it in a kit or seperatly the kit is usually $60

it works really great|||maybe try getting it from some company that creates face stuff for teens/people w/ acne?|||Tips for applying Concealer to cover acne

http://geethabeautytips.blogspot.com/200鈥?/a>|||Take an oil free non comodegenic lotion - ask the cosmetic department at a drug store - they can give you suggestions for inexpensive brands. The key though is to make sure you wash your face at night! Otherwise no matter what makeup you put on to cover up the acne, it will only get worse because you keep piling makeup on it. The skin needs to breathe for your face to clear up.|||There is a better alternative for an all-natural makeup than the brands that have already been mentioned and it doesn%26#039;t cause reactions to your skin since you mentioned how sensitive your skin is. Plus, it just happens to be affordable, so that is why I choose to buy it now myself and recommend it to others. It contains no bismuth, cornstarch, talc, fillers, paraben, preservatives, and of course no chemicals or dyes. I liked it so much that I am now a consultant for Affordable Mineral Makeup. You can read all about it, see it, and be amazed at their prices below, AND there%26#039;s no automatic shipments, either!... samples are just $1.49 if you just want to try it...|||Neutrogena is the best! I use to have some trouble with my skin like redness or acne or when i switch products i would break out..but i began to use Neutrogena%26#039;s three step skin clearing system (face wash..sort of like proactive) and Neutrogena skin clearing foundation...it%26#039;s a liquid foundation at any drugstore for like 9 dollars..it really does clear your skin just make sure you wash it off before you go to sleep..i guess it worked better because i was using all neutrogena products...Good luck!
