What foundation/powder is good for acne prone skin?

I dont want anything that will make my acne worse, but maybe better? if you have acne, what foundation do you use? i have oily skin. what do you think would be good for me to use without hurting my skin? thx%26lt;3|||This is what i suggest:

Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpensive and it%26#039;s very easy to do since there is only two ingredients.

Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON鈥楾 EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored.

Aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.

Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you%26#039;re prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. Don%26#039;t use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don%26#039;t scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin.

An egg yoke can be used to make you pores smaller. I used this when I had pimples. Just take the egg yolk (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water.

Keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. Change you sheets because they%26#039;re are trapped with dirt, oils, etc.

Zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. You can buy these almost about any large store (such as Wal-Mart or Shaws.) Have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and don%26#039;t pop you acne. Popping acne can lead to acne scars.

If you have sensitive skin, don%26#039;t use make up. Some of the things in make up can clog your pores and cause pimples. Keep your hands out of your face as much as you can because you hands a full of bacteria and oils.|||a mineral powder, neutrogena skin clearing, almay for oily skin and covergirl clean collection.|||If you feel comfortable using minerals, I would recommend using a mineral foundation. I switched to minerals a few months ago and my skin has never been better. I use a brand that I have to get online, but you can always try the ones available at any drugstore. Or Neutrogena makes a foundation with salicyclic acid which can help your acne and give you coverage. Maybelline also has a pure H20 ( I think) which is waterbased and not supposed to clog pores. To help with your oily skin, buy some blotting sheets. Clean and Clear makes some, they can really help sop up oil throughout the day. I like them better than reapplying powder, since powder can tend to look cakey. Also, try applying some salicylic acid gel every morning before applying your moisturizer and foundation. This can help fight oil and acne during the day. I use one everyday along with my mineral makeup and this combination has really helped my oil production and acne.

The mineral foundation I use is found on www.joppaminerals.com.|||Revelon Age Defying|||hey when you find something out could you email me and let me know. i have the same question but i was to afraid to ask

email:chelseam_1990@yahoo.com|||Everyday minerals, I need not to say, look it up =]|||Any kind of mineral powder is good. I have very acne prone skin and I have found that the loose mineral powder made by Neutrogena has helped in clearing my skin.|||I have acne prone skin (t-zone only) but it%26#039;s not worse, but I still get acne sometimes. I use Clinique%26#039;s powder foundation which is awesome! It doesn%26#039;t irritate and powder foundation is the best partner for oily skin (I%26#039;ve read in a lot of magazines). It%26#039;s oil-free so it%26#039;s great!

Try looking for foundations with powder and that%26#039;s oil-free.|||use Bare Naturale by L%26#039;Oreal .... the powder I mean

I have the same condition but this foundation feels really smooth and goes a long way

just use a lil though :)|||really no foundation would be the best, but if you must use some get bare minerals. but before you put anything on clean your face really good.|||any mineral powder would be best because it will help absorb the oil and minerals are good for you. Now they are coming out with all kinds, maybline, bare minerals, avon. avon would probably be the cheapest but go look in your make up asile for a mineral power. oh and put it on with a big brush(kabuki) also wash your make up brushes and pads once a week. The grime and dirt builds up and clogs pores as well as throw out old makeup. You can do a search as to how long you should keep each type but foundation lasts usually six months.|||Almay actually has a foundation, powder, and concealer designed for acne prone skin called %26quot;Clear Complexion%26quot; so that may work for you and it%26#039;s not that expensive. Physicians Formula is AMAZING and it%26#039;s made out of good to your skin ingredients and looks really natural. It%26#039;s more expensive but its definetly worth it. I think clinique also has a line for acne-prone skin which would be fairly expensive but I haven%26#039;t tried it. I don%26#039;t really have much acne but i do have oily skin. I use either Clinique Superbalancing or Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse and Physicians Formula Powder.
